Job Overview System on Chip(SOC) Security Group is looking for an experienced Security Systems Architect to define and manage the access control architecture and associated SOC security policy that governs the system-wide security architecture. The Security Systems engineer will understand and help define how the various security mechanisms affect the security and stability of the SOC. The candidate must have very strong security fundamentals as well as Computer Architecture, Digital Design, and Operating Systems background. The deep understanding of an SOC system will enable the candidate to understand how high-level use cases affect underlying SOC access control mechanisms. A successful candidate will need to have excellent written and verbal skills, as he will be interfacing many different stakeholders. These stakeholders include but not limited to internal teams at Qualcomm, OEM, the device owner, carrier, content provider, service provider. All Qualcomm employees are expected to actively support diversity on their teams, and in the Company. Minimum Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field.
