Security/Compliance Analyst

Overview

The Security/Compliance Analyst will be responsible for maintaining familiarity with all applicable compliance standards as they pertain to FlightSafety. The analyst will update documentation and be responsible for auditing FlightSafety and working closely with all areas of FlightSafety's business to gather and respond to regulatory requirements. In addition, the analyst will be the lead for litigation hold and coordination with FlightSafety legal team. The analyst will also be the POC for penetration testing work at FlightSafety.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities

* Oversee review of applicable regulatory compliance (from an IT perspective)
* Primary point of contact and coordinator of penetration testing work
* Lead for remediation of penetration test findings
* Responsible for keeping documentation and policies up-to-date
* Familiar with network and endpoint security technologies
* Perform assessment and recommendation of new security technologies
* Lead and coordinator for litigation holds and will work closely with the FlightSafety legal team for contract reviews
* Coordinates rebuild of devices confirmed to have been infected by viruses/malware.
* Provide 24x7 on-call support, after hours and weekend work as needed
* Complete other tasks as required

Experience, Education and Skills

* 4+ years in information security
* Security+ Certification
* One or more of the following certifications: Certified Ethical Hacker, GIAC Intrusion Analyst, GIAC Enterprise Defender, GIAC Penetration Tester
* Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution or equivalent industry experience
* Excellent understanding of network and endpoint security technologies
* Excellent understanding of Incident Response techniques
* Basic knowledge of network infrastructure, including routers, switches, firewalls, and the associated network protocols and concepts
* Vulnerability management and scanning technology
* Centralized log management
