Job Description

Technology Analyst

Qualification:

Bachelors in engineering or equivalent

Responsibility:

Requirement Gathering and Analysis :

* Study the requirements shared by Technology Analyst.
* Interpret the requirements and seek clarifications.
* Raise issues with requirements document and solutions for the same.
* Participate in KT calls to understand the requirements.
* Conduct analysis on production/application log for existing applications and share inputs on requirement analysis for deriving workload model with Technology Analyst.

Design and Development :

* Based on requirements, customize tools, build automation tools/ enablers or develop inhouse cognizant based tools to be used internally or for client solutions.
* Perform Proof of Concept activities and analyze feasibility under guidance.
* Provide an assessment report after the POC against the set parameters.
* Discuss any issues with the Technology Analyst.
* Execute code, write test scripts on a specific tool and test in real time.
* Support the Technology Analyst in publishing the tool or presenting to the relevant stakeholders (internal / external).

Knowledge Sharing :

* Participate in knowledge sharing sessions on new technologies with other teams.
* Contribute to knowledge repository and tools.
* Support team in Gotomarket activities.
* Attend selftraining to ensure high standards of communication and business etiquette are maintained always.

Market Research :

* Study and learn industry solutions.
* Identify opportunities for solution or framework development, guided by the Technology Analyst.
* Under guidance, build assets on industry solutions / best practices.
* Analyze and write the pros and cons of specific tools.
* Through knowledge sharing sessions, socialize solution to internal audience along with Sr Analyst.
* Support implementation of such tools as required.

Business Development Support :

* Understand proposal requirements from senior stakeholders.
* Provide recommendations on automation tools to be used/ approach to be followed / tools to be built etc.
* Contribute to build the relevant sections of the proposal.
