Design, develop, troubleshoot and debug software programs for databases, applications, tools, networks etc.

As a member of the software engineering division, you will take an active role in the definition and evolution of standard practices and procedures. You will be responsible for defining and developing software for tasks associated with the developing, designing and debugging of software applications or operating systems.

Work is non-routine and very complex, involving the application of advanced technical/business skills in area of specialization. Leading contributor individually and as a team member, providing direction and mentoring to others. BS or MS degree or equivalent experience relevant to functional area. 7 years of software engineering or related experience.

The LCM Release Engineering & Operations team is seeking hands-on technologists to fill a key role in supporting the entire LCM development organization. In this central position, you will be responsible for providing crucial operational and release management support for LCM development teams. As part of our cross-functional team, you will work in cooperation with LCM development managers to improve and maintain development and release processes, and to ensure smooth and timely delivery of each release. As a member of LCM, you will have a major impact on Oracle's business by transforming how Oracle's SaaS/Cloud applications are delivered and maintained for enterprises.

Job Requirements:

* BS or MS degree in Computer Science, or equivalent.
* 5 years experience in software development, engineering, or related field.
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
* Must be detail oriented with a strong track record in problem solving, troubleshooting, and process improvement.
* Comfortable in CI/CD and DevOps work styles.
* Must be customer-service oriented.

The ideal candidate will have the following skills:

* Strong technical background.
* Knowledge of Linux/Unix and past experience with source-code management systems.
* Past experience with Software Operations and Release Management.
