Responsible for the successful technical, schedule, and cost performance of a major program, or multiple programs, through subordinate program/project managers, in accordance with contract requirements and company policies, procedures and guidelines. Responsible for acquiring follow-on business associated with assigned programs and for supporting new business development by leading proposals or through program/project managers. Requires Bachelors degree or equivalent, and sixteen plus years experience in a related technical environment, including five years related management experience. Become an integral part of a diverse team in the Mission Services and Solutions (MSS) Group. Currently, ManTech is seeking a motivated, mission-oriented Network/Infrastructure Engineer Apprentice to support the Persistent Cyber Training Environment (PCTE) Program that is focused on delivering innovation to advance the cyber domain.

Responsibilities:

* Configure and setup routers, switches IDS/IPS and other network appliances.
* Configure MPLS and IPSEC VPN /DMVPN.
* Design, setup and configure switching and routing environments.
* Maintain a thorough understanding of Local and Wide Area Networking concepts & trends.
* Manage assigned projects and program components to deliver services in accordance with established objectives.
* Support architecture, preliminary design, analysis, implementation, and operations of the infrastructure. Critical areas of focus include information assurance, data strategy, interoperability, application integration, information exchange, network services.
* Practice network asset management, including maintenance of network component inventory and related documentation and technical specifications information.
* Monitor and test network performance and uptime, and provide network performance statistics and reports.
* Development of infrastructure and operational requirements in all phases of the system development life cycle.
* Development of configuration management processes that support provisioning, tracking, monitoring project related equipment.
* Recommend, schedule, and perform network improvements, upgrades, and repairs.
* Work within established configuration and change management policies to ensure awareness, approval and success of changes made to the network infrastructure.

Qualifications:


* Eligible for enrollment into a Bachelors degree program in the field of cyber security.
* 2+ years of overall IT networking experience.
* Ability to obtain a DoD Secret level clearance.

Skills and Experience:


* Experience configuring Cisco routers.
* Experience configuring Cisco data center switches.
* Experience converting customer requirements to technical solutions.
* Experience configuring security appliances.
* Ability to obtain a DoD Secret level clearance.
* Experience with MS Office products, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Visio.
* Understanding of IP tunneling technologies.
* Strong understanding of Spanning-Tree Protocol.
* Strong communication skills.
