Job Description

The Manager of Program Delivery and Change will lead efforts to create strategies, communication plans, and implementation plans to drive effective change for CDW's key business initiatives. The role will be responsible for evaluating readiness and preparing those impacted by significant changes that occur as a result of process improvements, technology shifts, or organizational alignments. This role will also partner with business leaders and business owners to support, create, and execute Change Management frameworks and work closely with the Program Delivery and Strategy team to imbed sound practices and principles to increase the overall acceptance and effectiveness of organizational change.

Key Areas of Responsibility

Change Management

* Partner closely with project team to understand specific project objectives, timelines, and impacts to end users
* Partner directly with sponsors and business owners of the change; understand goals of each initiative and be able to translate them into impacts to the organization
* Assess audience readiness for the change including identifying risks and anticipated points of resistance; evaluate the results and present findings
* Develop actionable change management strategies
* Develop or manage communication and training plans that utilize various channels and are consumable by specific audiences
* Execute or manage deliverables against the communication plan, crafting or coordinating clearly articulated messages that prepare and motivate users for adopting the change
* Develop training materials to help ensure users have the knowledge and ability necessary to successfully adopt the implemented change, including blogs, training videos, job aids, and internal media posts
* Identify resistance and/or performance gaps, and work to develop and implement responsive actions
* Create and enable reinforcement plans and celebrations of success
* Share lessons learned and best practices with project team, business owners, and sponsors

Change Strategy

* Create a playbook of tools and strategies based on Change Management best practices as well as lessons learned from existing CDW practices
* Lead efforts with the Program Delivery and Strategy organization to imbed those tools into the implementation of CDW's portfolio of Performance Excellence and IT programs and projects
* Train CDW coworkers and change leaders on the Change Management principles and frameworks
* Drive and establish a culture of assessing readiness, capabilities, and risks of transformative change to improve adoption and effectiveness



Qualifications

Education and/or Experience Qualifications

* Bachelor's degree
* 10 years of relevant work experience
* 5 years in change management/organizational effectiveness initiatives

Other Required Qualifications

* Proven program management experience, driving change from conception through completion for highly complex initiatives
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to effectively interact with all stakeholders across the organization
* Demonstrated ability to build and maintain strong working relationships with a track record of successfully influencing stakeholders
* Excellent interpersonal and active listening skills
* Ability to clearly articulate messages to a variety of audiences using various channels
* History of providing outstanding customer service to stakeholders
* Ability to take initiative and creatively problem-solve
* Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
* Experience balancing multiple priorities simultaneously with the ability to adapt to the changing needs of the business while meeting deadlines
* Strong meeting facilitation and presentation skills
* Familiarity with project management approaches, tools and phases of the project lifecycle
* Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint)

Preferred Qualifications

* MBA or graduate degree
* 10 + years of relevant experience in Communications, Marketing, or Project Management experience in Technology industry
* Formal training and hands on experience in an organizational change methodology
* Experience in working with Sales organizations
