Job Overview The Identity and Access Management team is seeking a high level engineer with significant experience in cloud based identity services. This role is focused on the transformation of identity services for the enterprise using multiple cloud offerings. With ever evolving business needs cloud based identity services are at the center of many service offerings. Identity governance, multi-factor authentication, federation, single sign on, etc. We are seeking a leader to help the team continue to evolve and mature in this space. A deep understanding and working knowledge of cloud based identity services, global infrastructures, data replication, data synchronization, automated infrastructure deployments and identity governance is a must. You will also be required to architect and mature multiple services as the needs of the business requires. Primary Responsibilities include: Continued maturate of global identity infrastructures. Tier 3 responsibility for a global support organization. Representative as an IaaS expert for the Identity and Access management team. Interaction with multiple levels of the organization using verbal and written communication skills to convey complex and/or detailed information to multiple individuals/audiences with differing knowledge levels. The role may require strong negotiation and influence, communication to large groups or high-level constituents. Exercising exceptional creativity is needed to innovate new ideas and develop innovative products/ processes without established objectives or known parameters. Serves as a technical lead on multiple large projects/systems, assigns work to a project team, and works on more advanced tasks to complete a project. Drives technical conversations to ensure the right path is followed to project completion. Communicates within and outside of project team to resolve conflicts in implementation schedules, design challenges, and other complexities. Collaborates with Business Unit Management to understand business needs, and strategies and/or recommends IT solutions to address them. Networks with colleagues across the organization to gain insights, ideas, and connections. Documents processes for upcoming updates in technology (e.g., design, architecture). Presents Business Unit IT needs and requirements to IT Management and staff. All Qualcomm employees are expected to actively support diversity on their teams, and in the Company. Minimum Qualifications Bachelor's degree and 7+ years IT-relevant work experience OR 9+ years IT-relevant work experience without a bachelors degree. Preferred Qualifications Minimum 5 years leading global identity implementations. Extensive, demonstrable knowledge of IaaS, identity data replication and synchronization methods. Extensive working knowledge with authentication and authorization.
