Job Description

The individual will be responsible for assisting the Chief Information Security Office (CISO), which includes the Information Security and IT Compliance functions, under the direction of the Senior Analyst, IT Governance, Risk Management, and Compliance. This position will assist with the global IT Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) program as well as maintaining the enterprise-wide Information Security program.

Job Responsibilities:

The individual will assist with:

* Maintaining OpenPages (internal tool used to document controls and issues)
* Updating IT-related policies and procedures
* Maintaining various trackers and ensuring they are up-to-date
* Develop and update presentations used for various IT Governance meetings
* Record pertinent notes during IT Governance meetings and distribute minutes to attendees in a timely manner
* Maintaining the CISO internal sites and shared mailboxes
* Preparing data for analysis
* Updating scorecards (exporting data from OpenPages and importing into Excel tables on SharePoint)
* Review management's control narratives, application inventory and testing documentation of IT SOX controls for in-scope IT locations globally
* Assist in coordination of various training sessions on SOX control narratives and testing
* Assist with responding to IT/IS compliance requests from agencies, clients and vendors
* Assist in drafting and distributing emails to global, regional, and agency IT leads
* Assist in the CISO exceptions process
* Special projects on an as-needed basis

Undergraduate applicants only.

Must be in one of the following programs:

* Management/Computer Information Systems (or equivalent)
* Information Assurance (or equivalent)
* Accounting/Business major with a concentration or minor in MIS or Information Technology.
* Interested in anyone with relevant coursework in IT Audit, Accounting, Information Security, IT/SOX Compliance, and Cyber Security.
* Must attend College or University local to the NYC area in order to work 20 hours per week wile attending classes and 40 during the summer.
* Basic knowledge of financial or IT controls preferred
* Strong Microsoft Office knowledge (Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Excel)
* Excel knowledge must include use of pivot tables and V-lookups
* Microsoft Visio, SharePoint, and/or OpenPages experience preferred
* Strong overall computer, analytical and organizational/time-management skills
* Good written, listening and verbal communication skills
