Job Description

Are you excited by the challenge of building AWS customer-facing products? Do you like improving customer experience while choosing and adopting AWS partners and solutions? Do you like to build products with huge business impact and visibility? If yes, you may be a great fit to join the AWS Partner Systems team!

AWS is one of Amazon's fastest-growing businesses, servicing millions of customers all over the world, reshaping the way that global enterprises consume information technology, and powering the developers who are building the next generation of global industry leaders. AWS customers include some of the most innovative start-ups like Netflix, Airbnb and Instagram, as well as some of the largest global enterprises like Shell, Unilever, Hitachi, Sharp and Samsung. AWS partners include the world's top technology and consulting firms, like SAP, Siemens, Splunk, Accenture and Rackspace. The AWS Partner team works with tens of thousands of partners to bring solutions to market that drive revenue and increase AWS customer adoption.

In this specific role, you will start out as a Front End Engineer responsible for building products which are going to be the cornerstone for partner discovery (https://aws.amazon.com/partners/find/) and partner-led AWS solutions for our customers. The products would address a variety of customer personas such as enterprises, start-ups, developers or individuals trying to discover, adopt and engage with partners. You would be responsible for implementing technology solutions that can scale at the pace of the AWS customer and partner community. As a Front End Engineer on the team, you'll work backwards from our customers' business needs, you'll interact with our product managers to shape product vision, you'll quickly iterate on front-end interfaces and have a working knowledge of back-end data handling. You are someone who thrives in fast-paced environments, where problems are not always crisply defined and the challenges offer unlimited potential for innovation. You are a self-starter who can dive into a project with limited guidance and are as passionate about creating compelling experiences for customers as we are. You have working knowledge of Adobe CQ and know about and continually want to learn about modern frameworks like Angular or React, plus strive to build highly responsive, intuitive and sleek experiences for customers. You can provide technical leadership to the team and you understand the nuances, pitfalls and strengths of the various web-app development frameworks and associated best practices. You're determined to find the right approach, even if it's not your own. You believe in Agile development, quick prototypes and strive to see your work in action. You believe that web development is the perfect concoction of creativity, art and computer science.
