Enterprise Applications Architect Tenneco

Job Description

The enterprise architect (EA) plays an integral role in building a holistic view and roadmap of Tenneco's technology strategy, processes, and information technology roadmap. The architect partners with both business and technology groups to ensure that the proposed technical solutions not only align with Tenneco's overall objectives, but also ensures that both groups enable and drive each other to meet the needs of Tenneco's mission and vision.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

* Builds the long-term strategic roadmap for IT applications architecture
* Aligns IT strategy and planning with Tenneco's business goals and objectives
* Seamlessly integrates business and service strategy into enterprise architecture roadmap
* Partners with business and technology subject-matter experts to elicit and translate business requirements into technological solutions
* Leads the design and modeling of tactical architectures for delivery, development, and support of projects
* Partners with other solution architects to provide a consensus based scalable and adaptable architectural solution
* Develops and maintains policies, standards, and guidelines to ensure that a consistent framework is applied across Tenneco
* Promotes the use of a leveraged infrastructure and application roadmap to reduce costs and improve how information flows
* Circulates roadmaps to align IT priorities with business partner needs

Required Experience

Required Qualifications:

* Bachelor's in engineering, computer science or related field
* Experience building enterprise architecture roadmaps
* Experience designing, integrating, and managing complex enterprise solutions (cloud, hosted, etc.)
* Broad knowledge of applications across various functions (Supply Chain, Finance, HR, Engineering, IT, Corporate)
* Demonstrated experience with business process and performance modeling, benchmarking, and financial analysis
