Job Description

As a DevOps Engineer on the Live Services team, you'll focus on building, supporting, and ensuring the availability and uptime of tools and systems used by the Live Operations group and studios across the ZeniMax organization. You will closely work with the Network Operations Center, Security Operation Center, Live Engineering, Site Reliability Engineers, and many other teams from multiple studios. This role is critical in providing tools which assist in the identification of production issues and expedite the remediation of issues for Live Operations.

Responsibilities

* Build tools to automate tasks which are commonly repeated to increase the efficiency of fellow teams and improve the experience of completing cumbersome tasks.
* Coordinate with consumers of our tools to help improve experience and remove pain points.
* Engineer solutions for increasing the resolution time of emergent incidents.
* Provide operational support for developers on the team.
* Provide troubleshooting and timely resolution of system, network, and infrastructure problems.

Requirements

* 3-5 years' experience using Cloud Computing Technologies such as Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud.
* 3-5 years' experience in Linux and Windows environments.
* Familiarity creating and using a variety of API standards.
* Fluent automating workflows and writing modular object-oriented tools using scripting languages including Go and Python.
* Previous administration and use of Relational Databases and Big Data Systems.
* Prior experience with working in an on-call rotation for a 24/7 environment.
* Understanding of Low-Level and High-Level programming languages.
