At Launpad, we strive to help emerging Brands be successful on Amazon. We are seeking the industry's best to help us create new ways to taking part in changing the future of driving how Brands are known today.

We are hiring a Sr. Business Intelligence Engineer (BIE) to help us accelerate our efforts in delivering success to Brands on Amazon. This person will build new business intelligence solutions end-to-end. The ideal candidate will be passionate about working with big data sets and have the expertise to utilize these datasets to answer business questions and drive value for our brands, our program and most importantly customers.

As an analytical leader at Amazon Launchpad, we look to you for advice on analytical and business issues facing them. You are right, a lot. You get a lot done. You work very efficiently and routinely deliver the right things. You have a department-wide view of the analytical solutions that you build, and you consistently think in terms of automating or expanding the results beyond our business. You have performed multiple large, complex, and business critical analyses that serve major parts of the business. You are a key influencer in your team's strategy and contribute significantly to team planning. You show good judgement making technical trade-offs between your group's short term and long term business needs, and the needs of the company as a whole. You are vocally self-critical. You proactively contribute to knowledge-sharing across the wider analytical community. You demonstrate resilience and navigate difficult situations with composure and tact.

The primary responsibilities of this role include:

* Design, develop and maintain scalable, automated, user-friendly systems, reports, dashboards, etc. that will support our analytical and business needs
* Use analytical and statistical rigor to solve complex problems and drive business decisions.
* Write high quality SQL code to retrieve and analyze data from database tables (ex. Redshift, MySQL, Hubble), and learn and understand a broad range of Amazon's data resources and know how, when, and which to use and which not to use
* Develop queries and visualizations for ad-hoc requests and projects, as well as ongoing reporting for multiple groups across the team (OPS, Sales, Marketing and Consulting)

In addition to leading the design, development, and management of our analytical tools and reporting, we will also look to this person to provide thought leadership and business analysis support as needed. The successful candidate will demonstrate strong business acumen, experience in developing reporting and analytical infrastructures, strong communication skills, an ability to work effectively with cross functional teams, and an ability to work in a fast paced and ever-changing environment.
