The Systems Engineering & Integration for the National Systems for Geospatial-Intelligence (NSG) program delivers full life-cycle systems integration and engineering services to the missions of its customer. This program is chartered to provide technical leadership for many of NGA's highest priorities, including CIO-T GEOINT Services Customer Success Division (TDC). Their primary mission is to transform the agency's operating model; providing all users the ability to find, get, use, and contribute geospatial data, content and capabilities on all domains, at all times, in any mission environment.

The GEOINT Services Requirements Engineer will support the Discovery and Needs Analysis Team. This team will collect needs from customers/users and evaluate the needs against specific cloud base criteria that aligns to the GEOINT Services Strategic Objectives and Geo Capabilities. Needs will be prioritized based on reach (how many people will be impacted); impact (how much will the impact be); confidence (how confident are your estimates); and effort (how many person weeks will this take). The team uses Lean Startup Methodology and Human Centered Design Thinking to gain user insight and ensure GEOINT Services builds the right thing the right way. They collaborate with GEOINT Information Office (ST) to develop a Lightweight Requirements Framework for each project. The team is also responsible for developing capabilities based on a deep understanding of the user: the users' workflow; users pain points; how the users' mission fits into the enterprise mission.

Required Qualifications:

* Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Science, Math, Engineering or related technical experience• 6+ full years of experience in related field• Knowledge & Experience w/ SW intensive Agile development, implementation & modern acq best practices & methods (e.g., Demonstrated Understanding of Lean Startup Methodology, Human Centered Design Thinking, Business Model/ Mission Model Canvas, Lightweight Requirements Framework, Minimum Viable Product approach, Product Management)• SE&I experience working with NSG/NGA and/or GEOINT Mission Partner systems/segments • Experience applying SE processes, and detailed implementation planning to complex systems or enterprises• Experience with elicitation of mission needs, and translation to enterprise and solution requirements• Demonstrated customer service mindset• Ability to work independently and within a team environment • Very strong interpersonal, problem solving, organizational and multi-tasking skills• Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills• Proficiency w/ MS Office apps, agile requirements & implementation tools (e,g, Confluence, Redmine, JIRA, DOORS)• Basic understanding of the synergy between architecture and requirements• Familiarity with IC Cloud Computing Initiatives and tenets of Cloud Computing (e.g., AWS, C2S, PCL)

Desired Qualifications:• Advanced degree in a technical field• Relevant certs[eg SE&I(INCOSE), IT(ITIL), Scaled Agile Framework(SAFe) Agilist(SA), Certified Scrum Master(CSM)]• Demonstrated working knowledge of the NGA programs, organization, and familiarity with Customers/NGA leadership• Working knowledge of the NSG and NGA Acquisition Processes• Working knowledge of the IC JARM• Project/Task Leadership skills and experience• Familiarity with Model Based Systems Engineering (MBSE)
