Overview

The Web Designer position at PRO is responsible for all aspects of the overall Club's visual online presence. This includes the ability for our members and the public to easily find, learn about and, where applicable, purchase any of the various PRO offerings, including but not limited to our various classes, programs, services and products. This position will utilize user feedback, analytics and firsthand experience to design, implement and maintain a consistent online visual and functionality experience that meets or exceeds Ownership and Senior Management's requirements, goals and objectives while also taking into account the Member and Public's online experience on platforms including browsers, tablets and mobile devices. This position requires a strong work ethic and willingness to learn from and teach others who have little to no online web design experience, but have strong opinions nonetheless. This position also requires the ability to effectively communicate to small and medium-sized groups as well as one-on-one regardless of mode (i.e. verbally or written) with a wide range of personalities and management styles.

Responsibilities

* Maintains or enhances PRO Club's world class online appearance and reputation by creating and implementing design and layout additions, changes, updates and enhancements for all PRO Club web properties and sites, internal and external, for the wide range of Club and Medical departments, programs and other lines of business.
* Motivated self-starter that provides leadership, direction and recommendations regarding all aspects of PRO Club's and PRO Medical's online presence, including but not limited to Search Engine Optimization (SEO) administration, web design and layout, as well as multimedia, content and functionality trends that are applicable to the various PRO Club and PRO Medical departments, programs and lines of business.
* Meets with internal PRO Club Managers on a regular basis to discuss, evaluate and potentially modify the various departments' webpage designs, content and/or page functionalities. When applicable, works with department managers to create and present Statement of Work (SOW) documentation that includes time and expense estimates for approval by Senior-level staff.
* Works closely with third party web developers to apply style and user interface design to web applications and sites to efficiently and as cost-effectively as possible maintain and enhance PRO Club web properties.
* Employs best practices and administers search engine optimization (SEO) functionalities to maximize the discoverability of select PRO Club websites and properties.
* Questions or communicates with internal clients to assess their needs, discuss requirements, and clarify their web design-related goals, while seeking and promoting their understanding of the importance of maintaining a Club-wide brand and design in which their department is a part of the larger whole.
* Responds to site visitors who have specific feedback and collaborates with ITS Department technical support as well as external contractors/vendors on technical issues relating to any of the Club's web properties within the Service Level Agreement (SLA) guidelines.
* Works closely with internal ITS Department cast members (ie. Web Administrator subject matter expert) and external contractors and vendors to maintain the performance and security of all PRO Club web properties.
* Works closely with internal Marketing Department cast members to maintain and enhance the overall PRO Club brand and collaborate on ideas on how to better develop and maintain our online and web presence.
* Makes recommendations on the use of new and emerging technologies or applications and the opportunities to integrate these across the various websites, properties and online applications.

Salary Compensation: 60,00.00/ yr.- DOE

Qualifications

* Minimum 5+ years relevant industry experience and Associates degree, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
* Two years prior training and/or educational experience leading and directing small (1 - 3 months) to mid-size (2 - 6 months) projects.
* Examples of completed work required.
* Two years prior PRO Club experience a plus
* Must have a valid Washington State driver's license, proof of auto insurance and a clean driving record
