JOB DESCRIPTION:

SAIC is currently seeking candidates for a Vulnerability Analyst supporting one of our federal customers in Vienna, VA.

This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a key team of cyber security professionals here at SAIC, supporting Vulnerability Status and Metrics for our customer. We are seeking an individual that can work with stake holders to determine Plans of Action and Milestones for A&A work.

As a Vulnerability Analyst you will be responsible for organizing and documenting status as well as collect and document weekly metrics on remediation efforts.

The focus of the Analyst is to collect evidence of remediation for submission to the customer for validation.

To execute this mission, you will:

* Plan Information System Security Evaluation
* Evaluate information security technologies using manual and automated tools.
* Validate system hardening and provides guidance for security configuration.
* Utilize security tools to determine if remediation efforts were successful
* Collect evidence of remediation for submission to the customer for validation
* Conduct Periodic internal audits for Risk and Compliance

Qualifications

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE:

* 5+ years of relevant experience in Analysis of Information Security Monitoring
* Experience reporting risk posture of information systems
* Experience in the analysis indicators of compromise for use in detection
* Experience in response to and/or directing the response to information security incidents is required
* BA/BS degree is required OR an additional 6 years of relevant work experience in lieu of degree.
* CISSP or equivalent certification required
* Prior experience with Tripwire products, HP WebInspect or DB Protect is preferred.
