VR Developer Relations, Intern

Location: San Francisco, CA / New York, NY / Seattle, WA

Your Next Opportunity:

The Vive Studios Team is looking for a Developer Relations Intern for testing and development support for current and new VR projects. The intern would help provide the technical knowledge, tools, and resources necessary to support and promote our developer facing offerings to content creators and partners. This individual will be part of a team that will drive the creation of innovative experiences and high-quality content through the developer community. This individual will be a key contributor in engaging and supporting developers and partners, elevating Vive technology, and enabling meaningful high-quality content submissions to our distribution platform.

Your Impact:

* Attract new developers and content creators to our platform and contribute as part of the Developer Relations team that manages and promotes Vive SDKs, APIs, developer tools, & resources
* Act as a support resource between internal teams and developers to optimize opportunities for content creators and ensure a high level of content quality
* Represent developer requirements to help guide our platform product roadmap
* Create developer facing guides, videos, and tutorials
* Support developers with SDK integration and porting
* Contribute to the Developer Blog and Community Forums
* Provide outreach and support at industry developer events and local meetups

Your Expertise:

* Experience as a developer with a focus on VR and mobile technologies
* Experience with C# or C++ coding for 3D graphics
* Experience with both Unity and Unreal game engine technology and engine performance optimization
* Active member in developer user groups and engagement with groups driving development efforts
* Excellent documentation and presentation creation skills
* Excellent oral, written and public presentation skills
* Ability to work well within a team is a must
