We are looking for a voice and video services technician that can join our Unified Communications and Collaboration Services team and will help us advance our efforts to modernize and sustain our collaborative communications technology service offering. The ideal candidate will have a combination of skills that are relevant to voice and video telephony, professional audio/visual electronics, instant messaging and presence to service the MITRE workforce. Our dynamic team is seeking to update and enhance the user experience utilizing solutions from the leading manufacturers in pro AV and unified communications. This candidate will be a key contributor in supporting the organization with integrating this technology into our business workflow and maintaining our communication systems and devices.

Key Functions:

* Providing technical support for corporate meetings and events to include equipment setup and teardown, system monitoring and recording.
* Executing device moves/adds/changes to voice and video endpoints using cisco and avaya telephony administration platforms.
* Deploying, troubleshooting, and maintaining standards based video conference systems to include Polycom HDX and Group series endpoints and cisco and polycom video infrastructure
* Deploying and maintaining integrated conference room systems using technology from manufacturers such as: Cisco, Polycom, Biamp, Crestron, Extron, and AMX.

Required Skills:

General knowledge of corporate AV systems and components.

General knowledge of products and services in a typical unified communications environment.

General knowledge of standards based video conferencing endpoints and infrastructure.

Strong verbal and written communication skills.

BS with 2 years of related experience
