Description

The candidate must be able to support all aspects of VMware virtualization; configuration, implementation, management of servers in virtualized environment, and VDI implementations. The candidate also should have a foundation in Windows and network management skills.

The candidate will:

* Install and configure vCenter Server.
* Configure, manage and maintain ESXi cluster servers.
* Setup and configure HA, vMotion and DRS.
* Configure Datacenters, clusters, resource pools, VM's and virtual switching.
* Install, configure and manage VDI solutions utilizing VMware Horizon with View.
* Monitor health of VMs operating in various datacenters.
* Manage replications and VM movements between datacenters.
* Manage disaster recovery of the virtualized environment using SRM.
* Coordinate with various storage, network & security and server Admin teams.
* Administer various Windows systems and Linux operating systems.
* Understand VMware's integration with complex storage technologies.
* Manage Active directory OU and Security groups
* Manage VMWare Horizon 7 VDI

Qualifications

BS in Computer Science/Information Systems or equivalent experience and knowledge. Will consider 4 years of additional experience in lieu of a degree.

* 4-6 years of experience with VMware 6 virtual environment and higher (ESXi, vCenter Server, vSphere Client and Web Client, and VMware Workstation).

* Microsoft Active Directory
* HPE Servers
* HPE Blade enclosures

Desired Qualifications

Prior FDA experience is a plus.
