We are seeking a self-motivated and energetic UI Engineer who is adept with web technologies to join our team.
Responsibilities:
* Develop and support Single page applications for formalwear web applications. * Develop responsive html5/css layouts and interactive layouts. * Design and develop using appropriate software design patterns to attain high reusability and maintainability * Write effective unit tests and integration tests to ensure high quality software delivery, sprint after sprint. * Incorporate ADA compliance, SEO, and site optimization best practices as needed. * Proactively identify process inefficiencies and evolve accordingly. * Support ongoing content updates and bug fixes as needed. * Work with your QA resources to ensure that the software you deliver is of the highest quality. * Participate in code reviews and provide mentorship to other junior developers.
Skills, Abilities, Experience & Qualifications
* Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field. * 5 years of software development experience. * 3 years of web application development experience and fluency with JavaScript, one of more of modern frameworks like AngularJs (preferred) or ReactJs. * Experience with standard web technologies: HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, JQuery. * Experience using CSS Preprocessors like Sass/ Less. * Experience using NodeJS, gulp/grunt, task-runners. * Good knowledge of browser/device differences and the ability to deliver seamless responsive experiences. * Demonstrated ability to accomplish goals with little or no supervision. * Ability to work on multiple projects in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment. * Ability to learn and apply new technologies and tools quickly. * Effective written and verbal communication techniques. * Strong Interpersonal skills with ability to effectively relate to key users and stakeholders.
Work Environment, Physical & Mental Demands:
* Ability to sit and work at a computer keyboard for extended periods of time * Must utilize visual acuity, speech and hearing, hand and eye coordination and manual dexterity necessary to operate a computer and office equipment * Ability to work at least 40 hours per week from the Company's Fremont, CA office with flexibility based on business needs. #TBindeed #LI-JE1
