As a Test Engineer within the GT and Performance Team, you will be part of a dynamic test environment where your development and software testing skills will be challenged.

Responsibilities

* In collaboration with Project/Product management and Development teams, design and report on test strategies and plans for multiple-phase projects of high complexity.
* Participate in requirements/design reviews of new products to ensure testability and maintain an expert knowledge of products functionalities.
* Development of test specifications/test cases/ sets of regression tests in an accurate and timely manner.
* Ensure homogeneity in testing processes/automation and propose process improvements for those activities.

Qualifications

* Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent.
* Strong experience in writing scripts is REQUIRED. (perl or JavaScript or Python)
* 5+ years of IT experience with 3 years in evaluation and analysis of performance and scalability of the systems preferred.
* Strong communication skills in Technical matters (verbal and written)
* Experience with scripting on UNIX based operating systems (HP-UX, Linux) and associated system level performance monitoring tools(glance, caliper)
* Hands on experience with developing or tuning SQL queries on Oracle databases
* Experience with Oracle database performance monitoring tools - such as SQLT, TKProf, AWR, and infrastructure such as OEM, Grid control
* Knowledge in testing methodology and various testing tools is an asset.
* Experience with Quality Center or other Test Management Tools is an asset.
* Exposure to SWIFT messaging and interface products is an asset.
* Experience in Test automation processes and tooling e.g. Selenium, Cucumber (java) and API Automation using JMeter is an asset.
