Join SAIC's team to help DHS with researching and organizing scientific, engineering, and technological resources and leveraging these existing resources into technological tools to help protect the homeland. Functional teams will work in a Test and Evaluation (T&E) environment to define requirements, then continue through design and development to help programs manage risks, and support deployment and operations through continuous monitoring.

The Test Area Manager contributes to the evaluation, analysis, and development of recommended solutions; including:

* Resolves complex problems, which require an in-depth knowledge of subject matter related to Transportation Security and applies principles and methods of the subject matter to specialized solutions.
* Formulate and apply mathematical modeling and other optimizing methods to develop and interpret information that assists management with decision making, policy formulation, or other managerial functions.
* Collect and analyze data and develop decision support software, service, or products.
* Develop and supply optimal time, cost, or logistics networks for program evaluation, review, or implementation.
* Interprets results and formulates insights and findings underpinned by the data analysis.
* Areas of expertise may include economic and behavioral analysis, data analytics, biometric analysis, communication and network systems, business process reengineering, performance management, statistical process control, individual and organizational assessment and evaluation, process modeling and simulation, strategic and business planning, change management, organizational development, quality assurance, regulatory compliance, and situational awareness and decision support.

Qualifications

REQUIRED

* BA/BS; 10 years or more of analysis of Transportation Security Programs; advance degrees preferred.
* Must have experience in analysis related to complex system development or acquisition. This includes, but is not limited to, experience supporting strategic planning, mission and requirements development, and program definition functions, and providing assistance in developing strategic vision.
* T&E Level III completion of training for DHS and / or commercial equivalent T&E certification, this can include training from the Federal Acquisition Institute Training Application System.
* Must have active DOD Secret or DHS Secret clearance.
* Travel 10% (CONUS/OCONUS).
* Must be a US Citizen.

DESIRED

* Experience with T&E Mission Area Transportation Security Programs is preferred.
* Prior DHS experience including any Components or Directorates of DHS.
