Lenovo's Data Center Group is currently seeking a dynamic and experienced Storage Rack/Cluster Solution Test Architect with knowledge of multiple generations of Intel x86 Architecture and storage rack/cluster architecture. This individual will have development and testing experience and will work directly with Lenovo's Hyperscale customers and partners.

Job Responsibilities: * Define test strategies to deliver high quality Storage/Rack/Cluster products in the Hyperscale Data Center * Define test tools (such as automation tools, stress tools) for different components (Storage, Rack, Cluster, DIMM, NVMe, Network, Server, System Firmware, Software and etc) * Work with test teams and tool development teams to execute the test strategy * Collaborate with cross-functional teams to analyze test results and provide improvements for scale out test infrastructure * Work closely with customer engineering teams and Lenovo sales and marketing teams to extract customer requirements
Position Requirements: Basic Requirements: * Bachelor's degree in an engineering or technical discipline is required * 7+ years or more work experience in storage or servers, as a hardware development engineer or test engineer * Experience in direct customer engagements
Preferred Qualifications: * A Masters degree in Computer or Electrical Engineering is a plus * HyperScale/Cloud experience a plus * Understanding of Hyperscale data center environments and big data center infrastructure * Deep knowledge of X86 Intel server architecture and storage server architecture including node/Rack/Cluster design and testing * Deep understanding of automation test processes * Knowledge of design elements of OCP (Open Compute Project) based HW is a plus * Cross discipline understanding of engineering that covers firmware, management software, and hardware * Understanding of SDN (software defined network)software defined storage, BIG data analysis and AI is plus * Ability to work effectively cross-culturally across teams in the US and Asia
