Responsibilities:

* Research, evaluate and evangelize test automation framework approaches for web, server side and mobile technologies
* Recommend, lead and continuously improve the architecture and technical direction of functional and performance tests
* Partner with software development engineers and test engineers to devise automation and test strategies including test cases development to drive the software development process towards quality-centric methodologies.
* Interact with development engineers to devise automation strategies, test strategies and test cases to automate new features and enhance existing functionality
* Collaborate with DevOps team to ensure test framework and methodologies are integrated with the continuous integration
* Own the overall technical roadmap of automation in collaboration with development and QA teams
* Perform code reviews for software development engineers and software development engineers in test
* Mentor and guide Software Development Engineer in Test of all levels
* Consistently ensures that business is conducted with integrity at all time, that processes and procedures are followed and that behavior aligns with iCIMS core competencies

Qualifications:

* Minimum 8 years of software engineering experience, demonstrating experience in scalable software design and development with a proven track record of technical achievements
* Additional 3+ years of Professional SDET or QA Engineer experience developing automated frameworks and running automated tests
* Experience developing test frameworks for mobile is a plus
* Advanced knowledge of Object Oriented Design, Service Oriented Architecture and Design Patterns
* Advanced use of effective application development with Java, Spring, Hibernate and SQL
* Strong proficiency in web-based technologies including AJAX, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, XML, JSON, RESTful services and similar related technologies
* Strong knowledge of testing and automating REST and RESTful based web services
* Agile, Lean, Iterative software development and delivery experience required
* Experience with Continuous Integration / Continuous deployment
* Experience developing automation frameworks such as Selenium Web driver
* Innovative, self-motivated, possessing excellent interpersonal, communication and leadership skills
* Results driven, thrives in a development environment that is agile, collaborative, fast paced and one that is going through high growth, even when faced with ambiguity
* Ability to teach and train SDET I, II, III, and IV levels
* BA/BS or equivalent in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or other technical degree from a reputable institution. Masters preferred.
* In lieu of bachelor's or technical degree, we will accept 4 additional years of software engineering experience
