Job Overview

SubCom is seeking Marine Installation Engineer for the Engineering and Technology Department in Eatontown, NJ.

Responsibilities & Qualifications

Responsibilities:

* Assist with engineering, planning and implementation of deep sea cable installations
* Working as a member of a team or individually on activities associated with cable system vessel loading
* Writing methods of procedures for installation and loading activities
* Simulating cable installations using modeling software
* Interfacing with SubCom customers
* Assisting with internal and external training as needed
* Reporting to Senior Manager Marine Installation

Qualifications:

* Proficient in the use of Microsoft Word and Excel.
* At least 3 years of experience with Makai Plan and Makai Plan Pro
* Strong communication, technical writing, computer, organization and interpersonal skills.
* Adept in charting and mapping skills.
