Northwestern University is seeking a temporary Part-time Junior Web Designer/Developer for the Evanston campus.

Temporary Job Description:

This front end development/coding role will be responsible for migrating a series of websites from an older platform into our current brand standards and content management system templates as well as site updates. The candidate with work closely with a project manager and our front end development team. They will be responsible for the code and code integrity which should follow style sheets and established visual design. The position has knowledge of HTML and CSS with an emphasis on refining digital user experiences that advance reputation, engagement and conversion goals. Additionally, the position requires experience in Adobe Creative Suite.

Qualifications Required:

* Successful completion of a full 4-year course of study in an accredited college or university leading to a bachelor's or higher degree; OR appropriate combination of education and experience.
* 2-5 years' experience maintaining, supporting, enhancing, and testing the front-end of content-intensive websites within a fast-paced environment
* Experience working with responsive websites and content management systems, Sitecore preferred
* Expert HTML skills
* Intermediate CSS3 skills
* Experience with Adobe Creative Suite

Software Required:

MS Office suite 2013 (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
