Overview

As the primary Cisco Unified Communications Engineer you will design, deploy, and support Cisco-based network and communication solutions. Reporting to the VP of Infrastructure, you will ensure day to day add, moves changes are completed timely while also managing more complicated system configurations in a secure and compliant manner

Responsibilities

* Deployment, Integration & Testing of Cisco UC-Voice Infrastructure
* Work closely with internal and external stakeholders including vendors
* Configuring, installing, troubleshooting and repairing network and systems infrastructure.
* Conceptualize, design and configure CUCM, Unity Connection, IM&P and other UC application's.
* Debugging and troubleshooting on Cisco UC infrastructure.
* Responsible for adherence to all compliance programs, including but not limited to, completion of all required and assigned training modules by established due dates.
* Understand and comply with requirements of all laws and regulations applicable to position.
* Perform moderately complex technical analysis, design, support, implementation and project management of the Cisco voice environment with minimal supervision.
* Install, support and maintain Cisco voice infrastructure including network, servers, and services.
* Recommend improvements to the Cisco voice infrastructure including Network, servers, and systems.
* Monitor Cisco Voice infrastructure to ensure production availability and enable capacity planning.
* Perform troubleshooting to identify root cause and provide required solution to prevent future recurrences. Develop root cause analysis report as necessary.
* Develop technical documentation including system configurations and desk procedures for the maintenance of the cisco voice infrastructure.
* Work with other IT team members and technology service providers to design and implement new technologies and systems, and ensure compliance with Bank policies.
* Independently analyzes and identifies systems problems or data from monitoring system reports.
* Create and update service requests in corporate and client ticketing systems in a timely and accurate manner
* Conduct user training as required
* May perform other duties as assigned.

Supervisory Responsibilities: This position has no supervisory responsibilities.

Knowledge and Skills:

* Cisco Unified Communications Manager/Call Manager
* Cisco Unity/Unity Connection
* Cisco Contact Center (UCCX/UCCE)
* Cisco Unified Meeting Place and Webex
* Cisco Unified Presence
* Cisco Emergency Responder
* VM/UC on UCS
* Gateway: H323 / SIP / MGCP and PRI/T1
* Video/Telepresence implementation
* Routing and Switching
* CCNP or CCIE Certification preferred
* Cisco QM(Calabrio) preferred
* Cisco Advanced Attendance Console (CUAC)
* SIP experience including CUBE configuration
* VMware knowledge preferred
* Demonstrated analytical skills with good problem-resolution capability.
* Good verbal and written communication skills.
* Ability to work within a team and also independently.
* Strong organizational skills.
* Strong planning and prioritization skills.

Education and/or Experience: Five plus (5+) years' experience in network administration or telecommunications field. Bachelor's degree, vocational training or equivalent experience.
