As a Technology Lead, you will be responsible for individual software development based on high level specifications and also be able to guide junior team members. You will be part of a highly dynamic agile team where you will participate in design and development stories. You will also engage with other cross-functional teams to support external testing activities. You may be required to participate in architecture white-boarding discussions or present your point of view. You will have the opportunity to develop value-adding solutions that enable our clients to meet the changing needs of the global landscape.

Location for this position is Burr Ridge IL. This position may require up to 10% travel

Qualifications

Basic

* Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent required. Will also consider one year of relevant work experience in lieu of every year of education.
* At least 5 years of experience with JAVA/J2EE/WebServices (RESTFUL / SOAP)
* At least 2 years of experience in designing and developing Cloud based solutions with specific experience on Cloud PAAS services (Azure or AWS).
* At least 1 year of experience on development of Microservices.
* Working experience on containerization technologies, specifically Docker and Kubernetes
* Experience of working in Agile (Scrum) teams
* Developing System design and Functional Specifications. Creating specifications based on high level requirements.

Preferred

* At least 1 year of experience with Azure Platform Services (like Azure Functions, Azure Service Bus, Azure Key vault, Azure Blob Storage, Azure Data Factory etc.)
* At least 2 years' experience in projects handling Vehicle Telematics data over Cloud
* Good know how of end to end Internet Of Things (IOT) ecosystem & solutions
* At least 2 years of experience in technology consulting, enterprise and solutions architecture and architectural frameworks
* Experience in defining new architectures and ability to drive an independent project from an architectural stand point
* Strong Analytical skills
* At least 3 years of experience in thought leadership, white papers and leadership/mentoring of staff and internal consulting teams
