In the role of Technology Lead, you will interface with key stakeholders and apply your technical proficiency across different stages of the Software Development Life Cycle including Requirements Elicitation, Application Architecture definition and Design. This position will be supporting a custom CRM application, specifically the operational data or transactional repository. The responsibilities for the position include the analysis, design, development and 24/7 support of the production processes and applications. The application consists of both batch and real-time components written in DB2, Java and Informatica. To be qualified for this position, the individual must have over four years of experience with Java, DB2 or Oracle, and Unix SQL development. Strong working knowledge of Java is required. Individual must also possess strong analytical and problem solving skills. Advanced level DB2 or Oracle skills are mandatory. Must be strong in tuning and optimization of SQL queries and stored procedures in a Unix DB2 or Oracle environment. Qualifications Basic

* Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution. Will also consider three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education.
* At least 4 years of expereince in IT

Preferred

* At least 5 years of experience in Java, UNIX servers, shell scripting and DB2 or Oracle databases. Ability to design solutions and conduct data analysis is required. Auto industry and CRM knowledge are pluses.
* At least 4 years of experience in Java 6, J2EE, Struts 1.1, EJB 2.1, JSP, SOAP Web services.
* At least 4 years of experience in DB2 or Oracle database experience (DB2 is preferred),
* At least 3 years of experience working with Unix servers and Shell scripting
* Strong experience in writing efficient SQL and Stored Procedures that access several million rows across several database tables, Ability to perform query optimization and tuning of complex queries, Experience working with large & multi-terabyte databases and Ability to quickly grasp relational data models.
* Experience in IBM WebSphere Application Server or Weblogic. Websphere is preferred.
* Experience in automotive or CRM is preferred
* Motivated self-starter.
* Enjoys working in a dynamic, fast paced environment. Ability to handle multi task execution.
* Ability to very quickly learn new systems.
* Takes responsibility for the accuracy and quality of the work performed and takes ownership of all assigned tasks.
* Effective verbal and written communication skills. Ability to clearly communicate requirements and issues is a must.

The job entails sitting as well as working at a computer for extended periods of time. Should be able to communicate by telephone, email or face to face. Travel may be required as per the job requirements.
