Infosys is seeking for a Java developer at San Francisco, CA. Candidate will be working on Java development projects. Candidate will have to adapt on multiple application environments with high level of complexity (e.g. many interfaces, multiple packages).

In the role of Technology Lead, you will interface with key stakeholders and apply your technical proficiency across different stages of the Software Development Life Cycle including Requirements Elicitation, Application Architecture definition and Design. You will play an important role in creating the high level design artifacts. You will also deliver high quality code deliverables for a module, lead validation for all types of testing and support activities related to implementation, transition and warranty. Location for this position is San Francisco, CA. This position may require travel and or relocation.

Qualifications

Basic

* Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution. Will also consider three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education
* At least 4 years of experience with Information Technology

Preferred

* At least 5 years of experience with Java and related technologies and frameworks (Spring - boot, Spring Data, Rest services).
* Experience supporting multiple application environments with high level of complexity (e.g. many interfaces, multiple packages).
* At least 2 years' experience in developing single page web applications using JavaScript based frameworks/libraries - React or Redux or Material UI.
* Working experience in full-stack development environment spanning technologies across UI, business logic, data layer, integration middleware and cloud based infrastructure.
* Knowledge of using SOLID Principles
* Experience of unit testing, refactoring, security and performance scalability of application
* Advanced knowledge of using Design Patterns and knowledge of one or more cloud platforms (GCP, AWS, Azure) and cloud-native design patterns would be a plus
* Experience in providing analysis to customer's / business analysts on proposed solutions, working with the customers, business analysts and other colleagues as appropriate to develop a solution that provides a balance between performance, and customer service.
* Ability to work as full stack lead to guide team on end to end solution design and issue resolving.
* Familiarity with development operations (DevOps) practices and procedures, team development, and Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) like waterfall and Agile would be a plus
* Experience in SQL and NoSql databases
* Experience to Retail/CPG domain would be a plus
* Analytical skills
* Experience and desire to work in a Global delivery environment

The job entails sitting as well as working at a computer for extended periods of time. Should be able to communicate by telephone, email or face to face. Travel may be required as per the job requirements.
