In the role of Technology Analyst, you will be a technology professional adding value to a gamut of Software Development lifecycle stages. You will create detailed design artifacts like program specifications, test plans; and independently develop and review code and contribute to the go-live plan. Location for this position is El Segundo, CA. This position may require travel and or relocation.

Qualifications

Basic

* Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution. Will also consider three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education.
* At least 2 years of experience with Information Technology.

Preferred

* At least 2 years of experience in full test life cycle covering test strategy, test planning, test case creation, test execution, defect management and reporting
* At least 2 years of experience in testing Micro services and Web services applications with proficiency in SOAP, REST with tools like SOAPUI
* Agile planning, Story point and function point estimation, Sprint test planning, backlog grooming
* Experience in working with Oracle database
* At least 2 years of experience in design and development of test automation using Java / java script
* At least 2 years of experience in automation tools - Selenium
* Experience in End to End testing, Performance and Integration testing validating end-to-end scenarios
* Experience in testing on STN and device platforms - Android, iOS, Web and OTT device platforms is A PLUS
* Experience in application deployment / installation, configuration, along with management of test environment.
* Experience in defect management and bug tracking systems managing entire defect life cycle
* Experience in CICD pipeline and build tools is PLUS
* Excellent written/verbal communication, problem-solving, and analytical skills and be able to communicate ideas and concepts effectively.
* Experience with Operating systems: Linux, Windows
* Web /Application servers: Weblogic, Tomcat is A PLUS
* Relational Databases: Couchbase OR Oracle
* Automation tools: TestNG, CA Lisa, Jmeter, SOAP UI is A PLUS
* Bug tracking systems: JIRA, Bugjilla
* Analytical skills
* Experience and desire to work in a Global delivery environment

The job entails sitting as well as working at a computer for extended periods of time. Should be able to communicate by telephone, email or face to face. Travel may be required as per the job requirements.
