In the role of Technical Test Lead, you will act as a validation and quality assurance expert and review the functionality of existing systems. You will conduct requirement analysis, define test strategy & design and lead execution to guarantee superior outcomes. You will also be required to design an optimal test environment to simulate real-time scenarios. Location for this position is Irving, TX.This position may require 0% travel

Qualifications

Basic

* Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution. Will also consider three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education.
* At least 4 years of experience with IT

Preferred

* At least 4 years of experience on Performance Testing and Engineering
* At least 4 yrs of experience in preparing the Estimates and Test Plan documents for major projects
* At least 4 yrs of experience in creating Test scripts covering all the business critical flows
* At least 4 years of experience of preparing Test Approach/Test Strategy documents
* Hands-on experience in preparing the Performance Test framework and to prepare regression test suite to be part of CI/CD
* Exposure to various open Source Load Testing and APM tools
* Very good understanding of the test data management and Test environment management

Nice to Have

* Good knowledge of Retail domain is preferred Ability and Flexibility to work in Global Delivery environment and possess good client interfacing skills.
* Proactive in analyzing the current processes and practices and suggest/ drive improvements
* Work closely with Onsite teams for gathering Performance NFR's.
* Work closely with Practice SMEs to develop the performance test strategy, test plan, other supporting documents.
* Design/Plan Workload Models based on project requirements.
* Hands-on experience in any 2 Performance test tools such as LoadRunner, JMeter etc.
* Hands-on experience in preparation of Test analysis reports and knowledge on APM tools.
* Ability to manage/communicate tasks to offshore teams.
* Excellent communication and articulation skills
* Eye for detail, diligent, persistent and good analytical skills.
* Ability to quickly create good presentations/pivots/ graphs.

The job entails sitting as well as working at a computer for extended periods of time. Should be able to communicate by telephone, email or face to face. Travel may be required as per the job requirements.
