Job Description

Our client a Global Professional Firm in Montvale NJ is seeking a Technical Project Manager on a contracting basis.

Responsibilities:

* Manage security projects related to Monitoring and Incident Response, Vulnerability management, Cloud Security
* Develop and manage project budget, project plan and scope
* Develop detailed business/functional requirements, traceability matrix, change management registers, RACI, and process flow diagrams.
* Evolve project management capabilities, identify process improvements and improve quality of managing projects
* Present project status and budget requests to senior leadership (AVP and Above)
* Manage resource constraints and ensure critical path of project is not impacted.
* Work with a diverse group of stakeholders many functional teams to solution and deliver security solutions.

Qualifications:

* Minimum 3 years of progressive IT project management experience and business analysis
* Prior experience working in IT security plus
* Experience managing projects using Waterfall and Agile methodologies (like JIRA)
* Understanding of network, desktop and server technologies preferred
* Understanding of security technologies such as Intrusion Detection Systems (IDS), Intrusion Prevention System (IPS), Security Info. and Event Mgmt (SIEM) like RSA Security Analytics/Splunk, Config. mgmt tools, vulnerability mgmt. tools like Qualys., cloud security (AWS, Azure), virtualization security, firewall management (CheckPoint, Cisco) plus
* Prior experience with PlanView for managing budget, resources and plan preferred
* Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite applications including Visio, Project and SharePoint
* Ability to prioritize and coordinate tasks across cross-functional stakeholders, meet tight deadlines and strong attention to detail
* Strong written and verbal communication skills; ability to understand complex problems while formally presenting them simplistically
* Must be able to summarize and document efficiently topics discussed on project calls and track deliverables to completion.
* Must be able to work independently and hit the ground running within a short amount of time (one month)
