The Your Account team designs, implements, and supports the solutions that allow our registered customers to sign in and manage their Nordstrom.com accounts. To support our ambitions of providing even better experiences, we are recruiting a qualified Technical Program Manager to support one of our teams. Qualified candidates must be able to help foster an inspiring workplace where talented people feel empowered to drive amazing customer experiences and business results for Nordstrom. The engineering team the Technical Program Manager would work with is responsible for design, implementation, and support.

As a Technical Program Manager on our team, you will work closely with our Product and Engineering Managers to help define your team's roadmap and plans for delivery of innovative and high quality features. You will partner with other teams across Technology to solve complex technology problems and continuously improve.

Duties

* Demonstrate customer focus, being mindful of Key Performance Indicators
* Handle competing priorities in a fast-paced environment
* Help lead a development team through the Software Devepment Lifecycle
* Collaborate with Product, Program and other engineering teams to deliver new features
* Embrace the DevOps model by owning the end-to-end technology and infrastructure stack
* Help analyze existing and proposed architectures and infrastructure to identify and proactively pay down technical debt
* Anticipate and remove blockers that are impeding the team's success
* Ensure the application/system health, striving for minimal defects and downtime
* Track concurrent projects and deliverables
* Communicate with individuals up and down the leadership pyramid
* Drive process improvements

Minimum Requirements

Education: Bachelors Degree (U.S. or foreign degree equivalent) in Computer Science, Engineering, or a closely related field, and

Experience: 2 years of experience in any software engineer/developer/tester/programmer/analyst occupation
