Job Description

Bungie is seeking a Producer experienced with technology-oriented teams to work with our internal development teams. In this role, you would be responsible for working with technology-focused agile small teams delivering critical parts of the Destiny universe. Responsibilities

* Work with Product Owners to provide transparency and predictability across multiple teams via story mapping, roadmaps, sprint plans, burndowns, and release reports


* Use project management tools, production methodologies, and leadership level dialogue to maintain tight schedules and high standards of quality across multiple projects simultaneously


* Regularly assess a team's agile maturity, health, and composition, relentlessly striving for team cohesion and delivery excellence


* Partner with leaders and teams across Bungie to share your knowledge and drive organizational efficiency and improvements for yourself and your teams


* Identify and communicate all roadblocks and bottlenecks that may prevent teams from achieving established goals within their sprints or other allotted time


* Provide information to ensure that project goals, objectives, milestones, and deliverables are realistic and achievable


* Schedule and attend meetings; set agendas; take concise and comprehensive notes and distribute them to appropriate attendees and stakeholders


* Manage and mentor Producers and Associate Producers in solving higher-level complex project issues


* Assist with recruiting and interviewing candidates for positions in product development where needed


* Ensure studio compliance with company policies and procedures



Required Skills

* A minimum of 5 years of experience in a production role with at least 2 of those years as a Producer of an internal development team (game engine, game services, tools, etc.)


* A minimum of 2 years of management experience


* Experience shipping one or more AAA titles as a mid or senior-level Producer


* Ability to coordinate complex technical problem solving


* Able to work well in a team environment, and manage multiple complex projects with various groups


* Unrelenting self-motivation, positive attitude, and initiative


* Proven conflict management and evaluation, mitigation and risk resolution


* Demonstrated ability to self-prioritize and execute with minimal supervision, while also leading by example


* Proven ability to create, track, and maintain complex schedules


* Can drive projects to completion in a timely manner, despite no direct authority and multiple departmental dependencies


* Comfortable interacting with and concisely updating leads and directors


* Successfully led teams using a variety of practices including but not limited to: Scrum, Kanban and Lean Product Management
* Proficiency with project management and version control software tools


* Strong knowledge of Microsoft Project, Excel, Word, & PowerPoint


* Passion and enthusiasm for the games, game technology, and game production



Nice-to-Have Skills

* BA / BS (or equivalent)


* Agile certification such as CSPO, CSM, or CSP


* A passion/interest in Destiny
