Job Description

DESCRIPTION:

Provide technical support to a demanding and diverse range of customers from different industries in 24/7 environment. This a full-time, summer position lasting up to 12 weeks and will involve using both technology and business skills in support of our client's environment. The position requires basic network administration and troubleshooting skills, in depth workstation knowledge, and management of both Microsoft Windows and Apple OSX operating systems, attention to detail, business intuition, excellent verbal and written skills, and the ability to professionally present ideas to all levels of the corporate structure

JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

* Respond to customer support requests.
* Maintain professional customer service to clients.
* Providing support of mindSHIFT products and services, including but not limited to:
* Operating system functionality
* Software installation and troubleshooting
* E-mail configuration and support (Office 365 and GAPPS)
* Mobile Device Management
* Escalate customer issues through the proper channels.
* Open and manage cases according to defined severities and case priorities
* Clearly document support issues and all steps performed in the Customer Relationship Management ticketing system.
* Keep open communication on all issues until resolved or turned over to another resource.
* Be held accountable for measurable objectives including Case Resolution, Cases worked, interactions worked among others.

QUALIFICATIONS (EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, & CERTIFICATIONS):

* High School diploma required
* A+ certification is a plus
* Microsoft Certification (MTA/MCSA) is a plus
* Highly customer focused with ability to provide consistently excellent customer service and professionalism
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills
* Must be dependable and able to work both individually and in a team environment.
* Must possess strong sense of ownership of client relationships
* Excellent Customer Service Skills
* Possesses excellent time management and organizational skills
* Must be highly detail oriented and able to follow in-place documentation
* Ability to Multi-task in fast paced environment
* Basic troubleshooting of all currently supported Microsoft Operating Systems
* Familiarity with networked environments; i.e. Active Directory, File and Printer Sharing, etc.
* Familiarity with common applications (Microsoft Office, GAPPS, etc.) and basic troubleshooting knowledge for those applications.

LOCATION:

McLean, VA

TIME PERIOD:

* up to 12 week (90 days) program
* July through September
* Business hours 40 hours a week typically, variable depending on workload.
