Job Description

The Senior Technical Consultant solves advanced complex technical problems and works closely with software development teams on system architecture to develop and provide solutions for best practice implementations. The Senior Technical Consultant provides ongoing operational and technical support. The Senior Technical Consultant develops and maintains automation scripts including procedures as need and may assist with analyzing, debugging, and testing software. The Senior Technical Consultant sets standards, installation guidelines, and maintenance and verification/auditing documentation of system solutions. The Senior Technical Consultant researches technological solutions and methods of application delivery to satisfy business requirements.

The ideal Senior Technical Consultant will have:

* Bachelor's Degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience
* Minimum of 6 years of experience required with at least 5 of those years being in-depth, hands on experience with deploying, maintaining, monitoring and supporting Azure cloud resources. AWS experience a plus.
* Experience developing complex scripts using PowerShell or other common scripting languages to automate the provisioning/maintenance of IaaS & PaaS environment configurations.
* Experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps.
* Strong knowledge of Windows Server 2012R2-2016 and IIS.
* Experience administering SQL Server and writing and executing SQL queries.
* Experience supporting and testing RESTful APIs (XML, SOAP, and JSON).
* Knowledge of responsive web design, social, and other digital platform experiences (jQuery, JavaScript, HTML, HTML5, CSS, CSS3).
* Knowledge of software development life cycle (Agile methodology).
* Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
* Ability to adapt to change in a rapidly growing environment.
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Desired Skills (Not Required)

* 3+ years Linux/Unix system administration experience.
* 3+ years SharePoint 2013/2016 administration & configuration.
* Microsoft Certified Azure DevOps Engineer or Azure Administrator a plus.
* Experience with Ansible and/or Terraform.
* Experience with Kubernetes and Docker.
* Knowledge of Cosmos DB.
