Perficient currently has a full-time, career opportunity for a Technical Consultant in in our Northeast office - preferably DC, Virginia or Maryland. Candidate must be elibigle to work in the United States for any employer without sponsorship.

Technology Consultants are responsible for the implementation and configuration of the technical infrastructure including web applications, layered software, hardware platform and operating systems. The Technology Consultant regularly consults with clients on best practices, issue resolution and experience guidance in order to improve the performance/reliability of client's technical environment.

Responsibilities

* Responsible for implementing part or all of the technical solution to the client, in accordance with an agreed technical design
* Understands a broad spectrum of technology in order to provide part or all of a detailed technical design which meets customer requirements
* Works with and under the direction of the Project/Technical Manager and with customer nominated representatives. Liaises with Solutions Architect as appropriate
* Design and build advanced app features for the iOS platform
* Independently craft project solutions by applying solid Object-Oriented-Design principles
* Working in a team of talented iOS engineers developing amazing native apps
* Work closely with product management & UX to execute an idea from concept to delivery using excellent software design, coding, & processes
* Continuously discover, evaluate, and implement new technologies to maximize development efficiency
* Communicates across client community, and is viewed as adding value
* Contributes to knowledge tools and communities, and ensures project learning's are documented and shared. Role models Focuses on single customer. Solves diverse and complex. May lead a project team

Qualifications

* BS/MS degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related subject
* 3+ years of software development experience
* 3+ years of experience with iOS, Objective-C, Cocoa
* Hands on experience with to HTML5, CSS, XML, API
* Coursework in Object-Oriented programming languages (C++/Java, etc)
* Must have experience in Mac OS platforms
* A passion for technology and the ability to learn new concepts quickly
* Solid understanding of the full mobile development life cycle
