The RMS Technology Consulting team is a global team delivering integration solutions and custom applications for RMS clients in the cloud and on-premise.

The Technology Consulting organization drives business value to clients through 1) the development of end-to-end solutions that leverage standard products, software and services, 2) the establishment of best practices in the areas deemed to be a priority for our client base - Exposure Data Validation, Model Validation and Insights, Own View of Risk and Thought Leadership.

The team's focus will be to develop solutions that are as scalable as possible, with bespoke client engagements occurring around the periphery of those standard approaches. Where bespoke engagements are deemed to be the best option for driving business value for the client, the Technology Consulting team will develop the scope, support the sale and manage those projects.

Key Accountabilities and Deliverables:

* Implement integrated solutions for a wide range of top-tier global insurance and reinsurance clients
* Work with clients, internal teams and development partners in the design and deployment of RMS' new risk management platform by developing various integration patterns to meet the needs of clients with varying levels of technical sophistication
* Assist with the development partner clients for staged implementation of the RMS Platform, and contribute to change management, enterprise integration, and other aspects of deploying the Platform into production
* Develop a comprehensive knowledge base of reusable solution artifacts and design patterns
* Provide technical leadership across all elements of Solution Delivery and Solution Engineering
* Mentoring junior members of the team as well as being a technical sounding board to the broader client facing teams
* Accountable for timely deliverables to the development partner clients and to RMS' internal development teams
* This role requires up to 30% Global Travel

Skills & Requirements:

* Full stack Application development experience using a major programming language e.g. Java, C# or Python
* Application integration, data integration and web services
* Previous client facing & professional services experience
* Experience developing and deploying applications using cloud components in either AWS or Azure
* Databases: SQL Server (NoSQL/Cloud database experience is a plus)
* Developed applications to support Underwriting & or Cat Modeling workflow for Large Insurance, Re Insurance or Lloyd's Syndicate
* Business process and workflow design/re-engineering
* Able to explain technical concepts to a non-technical audience (as well as a technical audience)
* Good presentation skills

This role requires up to 30% Global Travel

Education & Experience:

BSc or MSc in a technical discipline
