Job Description

Responsible for executing the Data Science Technology strategy in support of the in business data science communities. By partnering with the various data science teams provide ongoing technology support raging from new application builds, and the creation of an overall data science platform data science platform.

Candidate should have experience work with data scientists or quants previously familiar with industry standard solutions. Technical skills include, Python, SQL & No-SQL databases, NLP, .Net core, C#, Angular,

Responsibilities include:

* Planning, scheduling, controlling, and organizing technical aspects of assigned unit's development activities.
* Working closely with Data Scientists and Data Engineers to understand requirements.
* Gathering and analyzing pertinent information re system requirements, workflow, etc., and developing systems solutions.
* Liaising with other technology groups including infrastructure and cloud engineering to deploy data science platforms.
* Establishing a CICD pipeline that supports the data science innovation lifecycle.
* Evaluating existing software and/or software under consideration for purchase; making recommendations to meet system objectives.
* Hands on development and coding of data science solutions.
* Coordinating/managing the work of technical persons who are assigned to the project.
* Managing/tracking work queue from Jira.
