Q Analysts is one of the fastest growing IT Consulting Firms. We are currently seeking an enthusiastic and talented Security Solution Consultant for 6 Months contract to hire project that we are delivering for one of our clients located in Pleasanton, CA. Our client is a national non-profit Healthcare leader who is leading the way in technology, medical innovation, research and sustainability.

Responsibilities:

* Interact and collaborate with system architect pertaining to security architecture including maintenance & documentation
* Adhere and connect with Technology Risk Office on any HR security compliance and assessment on current systems as well as projects
* Serve as security architect for HR systems support on any solution related to system access, data management and tool assessment
* Worked on any security mitigation because of security audit findings, risk assessment and vulnerability
* Provide java developers architecture guidance
* Worked with functional and system security teams on matters SOX, HIPAA and IT audits including exceptions where waivers are needed
* Worked with IT application owner on critical patches, incident assessment and system enhancements
* Aid IT application owner on any senior leadership presentation on matters of security architecture, solution design, tool assessment and vendor engagement

Required Skills:

* Overall 7+ years of Java/J2EE experience with minimum 2 end-to end Security setup in implementation project (preferably middleware integration for PeopleSoft or ERP)
* 3+ years of Pleasant experience in Java Security frameworks / consultant with advisory role in an Implementation project.
* Experienced in Service-Oriented Architecture and its related technologies.
* Experiences in SSL certificate and Key Management.
* Experienced in end-point security configuration to manage inbound/outbound services.
* Working knowledge & Good understanding of Authentication, Data Masking, Encryption, SOAP, REST APIs and Integration methodologies
* Usage and experience on Audit concepts, Single Sign-On, LDAP and certificates
* Onsite Offshore coordination on day to day basis on deliverables and customer interaction on need basis
* Good in problem approaching with innovate thinking and able to approach / address the problems with process / people and ensuring review effectiveness on regular basis is must
* Excellent communication and experience in customer facing role
* Agile experience is a plus

Desired Skills:

* Good with SSL/Certificates - Network & Infrastructure security experience is must
* Nice to have experience in IAM (OIM or other products)
* Experience in setting up Duty Roles, Application Roles, Security Profiles, Data Roles and building REST APIs.
* Very good experience in Encryption and decryption with Knowledge in handling key stores.
* Knowledge on Cloud deployment (public / private) concepts
* Knowledge in SOA with implementation knowledge of SOAP and Rest services.
* Knowledge in setting up certificate and authentication process for web services
* Work in Agile Scrum framework
* Mobile development preferable
* Knowledge on Standard Security Principles
* Security Across Multiple Tiers
