This is an opportunity to work on the Labs and Tech Services (L&TS) System Engineering team. Labs & Technical Services organization, responsible for developing, testing and maintaining aircraft simulation systems and subsystems utilized for aircraft capability integration and weapons systems development from concept design through production and delivery.

This position is for Mission Systems Integration Laboratory (MSIL) Systems Engineer. The Mission Systems Integration Laboratory (MSIL) Systems Engineer primary set of responsibilities of this position include performing, providing laboratory system requirements derivation, requirements management and system design development, system integration, system requirements verification, system performance validation, and investigating laboratory anomalies.

Provide weekly status updates to lead/manager. Engage with MSIL stakeholders to ensure requirement and verification needs are being met. Create required system engineering documents and delivered where applicable.

Candidate will be responsible for providing technical support and advice to the laboratory staff to support integration, operation, and upgrades to the system.

Must be a US citizen. This position requires special access and a Secret clearance after starting. Final approval of these security clearances is dependent upon the Department of Defense (DoD) and could take an extensive amount of time to be granted. During this waiting period, the work assignments directly related to this position will be limited. Therefore, auxiliary organization work assignments will be provided.

This position will also require unique program security clearance.

There is potential to be performing other work or supporting other projects within the labs or E&T overall.

Basic Qualifications

* Bachelor's or Master's degree from an accredited college or university
* Experience in performing one or more of the following: system requirements development, system design development, system integration and verification.
* Experience with simulation systems
