Description:Lockheed Martin is seeking a Systems Engineer,to work on a programmable logic platform in Grand Prairie, TX.

The selected candidate will provide system engineering design, analysis, and test planning/execution support for a programmable logic platform.

Responsibilities include:

Requirements analysis, updating and documenting specifications.

Interface development and definition, including documentation.

Test planning and execution.

Design and evaluation of the programmable logic design.

Design coding, and version description documentation.

The Locale: Grand Prairie is part of the "Mid-Cities" region in the Dallas-Fort Worth Metroplex which is in the North Central region of Texas. Grand Prairie is a suburb of both Dallas and Fort Worth. The region offers a great cost of living combined with a robust economy and a pleasant climate. This North Central region of Texas is a great place to live and to raise a family. The region is home to numerous colleges and universities to include University of Texas at Dallas, University of Texas at Arlington, University of North Texas, Southern Methodist University, and Texas Woman's University. The Mid-Cities is the suburban region filling the thirty-mile span between Dallas and Fort Worth. Basic Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, or a related discipline.

2-5 years of systems engineering experience supporting technical programs.

Must be able to obtain a security clearance.

Desired Skills:

Experience with a development program, and capturing design decisions into architecture, interface documents and requirements.

Familiarity with military systems, and/or control systems.

Experience in programmable logic definition, development, and test.

Familiar with a applicable engineering tool sets.

Experience documenting architectures including both physical and functional
