SAIC seeks Systems Integrators (SI) to join an exciting program to support solution development for challenging problems. SIs are primarily responsible for a multiple system integration efforts including technical support, requirements definition, design trade-studies, oversight, and operational impact/support. Responsibilities include interface with multiple customers and subsystem engineers to ensure technical issues are resolved consistent with contract and schedule requirements.
* The successful candidate is a proactive, forward-leaning self-starter able to work in a fast-paced organization spread across diverse technical areas in the computer networking and telecommunication fields. * Serves as a subject matter expert on projects for both customers and project teams. * Provides project leadership, guidance and support to development teams on technical and programmatic requirements, as well as, support requirements analysis and derivation tasks. * Conducts technical studies, analysis, and evaluations to improve organizational knowledge of doctrine, organizational effectiveness, training, leadership, contractor personnel status, and gaps. * Advises on viability of alternative approaches. * Applies expertise leading and contributing to technical exchange meetings, creating and maintaining risk registers and mitigation plans, and assigning and closing action items for the customer's technical projects. * Witness system level tests and manage the requirements verification and validation process as well as assist with adjudication and resolution of discrepancy reports. * Additional functions of the position includes (but not limited too): performing research to support trade space analysis and assisting in the development of system security plans, security documentation, and other program essential documentation. * Must have a current/active TS/SCI with Polygraph * Requires a Bachelor's degree or 4 additional years of experience working in a similar position in lieu of degree. * Minimum 4 years of experience working in an professional environment, interacting with managers and clients, producing program documentation with demonstrated application of project management principles. * Ability to manage diverse workloads and effectively prioritize multiple competing demands on the individual's time. * Self-starter with initiative and ability to work independently and in the team environment. * Strong interpersonal skills and ability to communicate processes and procedures. * Proficiency with MS Office suite needed to perform day-to-day functions. * Experience in using MS Project.
