Systems Engineers Supporting OMES II - multiple levels

Job Description

TASC, an Engility Company, is seeking a variety of systems professionals with experience levels ranging from entry level to highly experienced to provide engineering support to NASA Goddard Space Flight Center (GSFC) on its Omnibus, Multidisciplinary Engineering Services Contract (OMES II).

The Systems Discipline includes multiple labor categories and TASC is seeking candidates in each of them. The labor categories that make up this discipline include:

* Chief Engineer (I and II levels)
* Systems Engineer (Junior through Principal levels)
* Propulsion Engineer (including Senior and Staff levels)
* Ground Systems Engineer (including Senior and Staff levels)
* Guidance, Navigation, & Control (GN&C) Engineer (including Senior and Staff levels)

These labor categories require the following types of experience, knowledge, and skills:

* Providing technical expertise to project management team
* Managing the development, implementation, and evaluation of complex designs, product development, and testing in order to ensure completion of projects
* Verifies that system requirements have been realized at all levels of assembly
* Performs engineering assessment of systems or subsystems using methodologies and techniques appropriate to the systems engineering discipline (risk management, requirements management, etc.)
* Designs, specifies, and manages the fabrication of, and tests cryogenic, hypergolic, solid and cold gas propulsion systems as a component of launch vehicle and/or spacecraft propulsion systems
* Possesses broad understanding of IT, electronics, and communications disciplines and an ability to integrate the pieces together to optimize the design, integration, and test of flight and ground hardware and software.
* Leads the development of ground data systems for satellites/instruments.
* Knowledge of both systems and component level expertise in the design, development, integration, and operations of spacecraft and suborbital craft GN&C and Altitude Control Systems.
