Parnter of ours in the Los Angeles area is currently looking for a Systems Engineer on a contracting basis.

Experience With The Following Is Required:

Active Directory - Strong expertise with Active Directory and Active Directory reliant configurations, including, but not limited to: DNS, DHCP, Group Policies, Users and Computers, Sites and Services, DFS, Print Server, BitLocker. Experience with Active Directory 2012 R2 or newer is required.

Windows Server - Strong expertise with Windows Server (2008 R2 - 2016) and applications and services installed, including, but not limited to: IIS, JBOSS, Secret Server, Splunk, Print Server, ASP.Net based applications, SQL Server (2012, 2014, and 2016), and RDS.

PowerShell - Ability to manage and manipulate Windows Server and other Microsoft based technologies using PowerShell. Ideal candidate will have experience automating routine process with PowerShell scripting as well as management of various configurations.

VMWare Technologies - Strong expertise with VMWare technologies including, but not limited to: ESXi hypervisor, vCenter (Windows based and appliance), vSAN, Horizon View, SRM, NSX, and Distributed Switches.

Dell+VMWare Integrated Technologies - Experience with Open Manage and automated management of system lifecycle.

Documentation - Strong experience with drafting and completing SOP documentation, system designs, architectures, runbooks, and administrative SOPs. GxP experience is ideal with knowledge of the differences in qualification requirements.

Strongly Desired Skills:

SCCM - Practical experience with management of OS Deployment images, software packages, system updates, configuration changes, and compliance enforcement.

Network Fundamentals - Understanding of Network fundamentals, including routing, firewalls, switches, TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VLANs, subnets, VPN, LAN/WAN and their interoperability with application systems.

Office 365 - Strong expertise with Office 365 and Microsoft cloud host applications, including, but not limited to: Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, Azure AD, PowerBI, Azure, ADFS, Azure AD Connect, SSO, MFA, and Federation.

Linux OS and Linux based appliances - Practical management experience of Linux OS based servers and applications.

Monitoring - Familiarity and practical experience with monitoring tools.
