Job Description

Description:Support the Submarine C3I SE&I program in a Systems Engineering role. The successful candidate for this position will provide both traditional systems engineering functional support as well as Model Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) support in a System of Systems (SoS) environment.

Duties also include working with other team members to ensure the requirements and model are understood and that the documentation and model are updated when clarification is needed.

Will need to foster a good working relationship with internal and external customers/stakeholders, and make the customer comfortable that their requirements have been translated and represented into a total solution.

Domestic travel in support of program activities may be

required.

Basic Qualifications:

* Requires the ability to define and implement changes to the SoS baseline
* Requires the ability to interface with customers, partners, and colleagues with a high degree of technical and interpersonal competency
* Knowledge of systems engineering concepts, including requirements analysis and definition
* Self-starter with solid verbal and written communication skills
* Ability to work as a part of a diverse team, both in support and leadership functions, depending on the circumstances

Desired Skills:

* Experience in SoS design, architecture, Anti-Submarine Warfare (ASW) systems, and/or agile development
* Knowledge of MBSE (Model Bases Systems Engineering), Object Oriented Design, GUI (Graphical User Interface), OMI (Operator Machine Interface), UNIX, Linux, TCP/IP, Open Systems/Client Server, UML/SysML, DOORS, TAU, Magic Draw or Rhapsody
* Systems Analysis familiarity
* Experience with Systems Modeling concepts and controls
