Basic Qualifications

Hold an active TS/SCI with Poly.

GIS Domain Expertise, GIS Support and Systems Support.

Responsibilities will consist of three main elements: ArcGISPro support, Training, and Data Management. ArcGIS tasks include assisting sponsor with ArcGIS technical issues and importing and manipulating geospatial data. Training tasks include formal and informal training workshops on GIS technology and tools and attending technological conferences and user groups meetings. Data management tasks include acquiring, creating, and enhancing data. Software expertise in python scripting. Some Systems Administration, set up passwords, shared folders, etc.

The selected candidate will be responsible for the exploitation and manipulation of geospatial data in appropriate formats in support of customer specific directed intelligence analysis and reporting. This candidate will provide extensive ArcGIS Pro knowledge to provide ArcGIS support, user training, and data management. Investigate new GIS technologies and tools that may be employed in the future to provide to the customer new analytical approaches, exquisite visualization techniques and more efficient systems. This may include obtaining the geodata from multiple sources, import and manipulate GIS data in all potential forms, import and manipulate imagery from multiple sources and help users generate work products upon request.

Must have knowledge in supporting a geospatial portal for the customer and help the analysts search relevant data, view the data geospatially on a map or globe, being able to ask questions to the customer of the data and able to draw targeting conclusions and then present a way to share this data in a meaningful way.

Must be able to provide personalized and one-on-one GIS support to the customer's analysts.

Generates intelligence-based assessments for use by analysts and planners during mission-planning cycle. Interfaces with representatives from other government and intelligence organizations, determining their data requirements through user group meetings, IC meeting as need by the customer.

Maintain the management of the shared data repository on the customer's infrastructure with regard to specified targets intelligence, process current and historical data collected, make requests for information to internal and external agencies as needed in support of mission planning. Will need to have some System Administration to include setting up passwords, limiting analysts to certain folders are customer shared drive. DTO to scan disks and thumb drives for new data.

Acts as the subject matter expert for all intelligence matters dealing with the data for Geospatial and Imagery Analysis.

Knowledge in creating python scripts to help the analysts streamline their search for data and processing the data.
