Description:Seeking an engineering professional looking for an opportunity in a challenging, fast paced, high visibility environment requiring balance between engineering skills, technical awareness, and strategic thinking to ensure successful execution of the largest defense program in history.

This exciting position will support the Design and Verification Systems Engineering functions for the F-35 Program. Specific tasks will include the following:

* Defining system level requirements, analyzing, decomposing and allocating system requirements to all areas of the Air System, including Mission Systems, Vehicle Systems, Weapons, ALIS, Training, and Support Equipment
* Performing system verification activities to ensure the Air System requirements are being met through the assessment and analysis of program verification criteria across all areas of the Air System.

Must be a US Citizen; this position will require a government security clearance. This position is located at a facility that requires special access.

Basic Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree from an accredited college in engineering or related technical degree.

Desired Skills:

* Experience in systems engineering disciplines with understanding of the total lifecycle (architecture, requirements, design, analysis, integration, verification)
* Technical experience in Mission Systems, Weapons or Logistics and Sustainment activities on the F-35 or other industry programs
* Knowledge of overall F-35 air system, design, and processes.
* Experience with written, verbal, and presentation communications skills, including briefing to stakeholders outside of current team.
* Experience using Microsoft Office tools emphasizing Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
* Engineering experience in the aerospace industry
* Current F-35 SAP Cleances
