SAIC is seeking a Systems Engineer / Solutions Architect to be an integral part of large program/enterprise level work for an intelligence community customer supporting the customer mission. This position will support offices in Northern Virginia, primarily Herndon, Fairfax, and McLean.

This position will focus on developing enterprise-level technical solutions and innovative strategies supporting global networks and requires a candidate with demonstrated experience in large enterprise systems architecture and integration. The selected candidate will advise on the feasibility of large enterprise level projects from inception to completion and lead end-to-end solution designs. The candidate will engage with customers, partners, and staff in overall solution development--creating and communicating complex architecture strategy, plans, roadmaps, and drawings to a variety of technical, management, and policy makers to ensure clear communication of ideas and to enable the customer's decision process. Attention to detail, excellent communication and organizational skills are critical.

This position will focus on developing technical solutions and innovative strategies. The successful candidate will understand software-defined networking, predictive analytics, and cloud hosting in an operationalized/productized environment.

Qualifications

* Must have a current/active TS/SCI with Polygraph.
* Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Management Systems or a related discipline. Equivalent experience may be considered.
* Minimum 14 years demonstrated on-the-job experience in Enterprise Systems Architecture and Integration in secure environments that include hosting, desktop, voice and video, and networks.
* Minimum 14 years demonstrated on-the-job experience in applying Project Management principles.
* Demonstrated systems engineering experience for complex systems at a large secure enterprise customer.
* Demonstrated on-the-job experience in facilitating Technical Exchange Meetings and/or technical and project management working groups that may be inter-agency.
* Demonstrated on-the-job experience formulating and communicating complex architecture strategy, plans, roadmaps, and drawings to a variety of technical, management, and policy makers to ensure clear. communication of ideas and to enable the customer's decision process.
* Demonstrated ability to create and sustain critical architecture and system engineering artifacts and the ability to effectively communicate the details of these materials both in written and oral presentations.
* Demonstrated ability to use information technology structures to organize, track, and enable access to all material relevant to project, architecture, and system engineering artifacts.

Desired Qualifications

* Demonstrated on-the-job experience with the enterprise architecture of a large secure enterprise customer.
* Five years demonstrated on-the-job experience acting as a liaison between large intelligence community-related organizations.
* Demonstrated on-the-job experience in a large organization to support program transformation to meet the demands of shifting mission and technological environments.
* Demonstrated on-the-job experience with large government enterprise architecture frameworks-intelligence community preferred.
* Tier 1 service provider experience.
