Applies an interdisciplinary, collaborative approach to plan, design, develop and verify a lifecycle balanced system of systems and system solutions. Evaluates customer and /operational needs to define and coordinate system performance requirements, integrate technical parameters and assure compatibility of all physical, functional and program interfaces. Performs various analyses to optimize total system of systems and/or system architecture. Performs analyses for affordability, safety, reliability, maintainability, testability, human systems integration, survivability, vulnerability, susceptibility, system security, regulatory, certification, product assurance and other specialties quality factors into a preferred configuration to ensure mission success. Develops the planning, organization, implementation and monitoring of requirements management processes, tools, risk, issues, opportunity management and technology readiness assessment processes. Resolves cross-functional technical issues.

Train International F-15 Pilots and Weapon System Operators to fight and win!

F-15 International Trainers, a team in Boeing Global Services' Training and Professional Services' Training Systems organization, is currently seeking engineers to perform integration on the F-15 Training Device platforms. Working with product management and leadership, subject matter experts, engineering teams, and test engineers throughout the entire development, fielding and operational lifecycle; the candidates will integrate and install products from numerous Training Systems Capabilities to fulfill customer needs and requirements. The successful candidates will perform requirements verification on system engineering products using inspection, analysis, and significant hands-on demonstration and test methods.

Due to the technical complexity of these trainer systems, a bachelor's degree in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistry is required. Experience in related engineering fields, such as systems or software engineering, is highly desired. Practical experience with security tools and standards used to implement Joint Special Access Program Implementation Guide (JSIG) and Risk Managed Framework (RMF) requirements is highly desired. Experience with computing infrastructure, trainers and training systems is desired, but not required. Knowledge of aircraft and aircraft systems is a plus, but also not required.

This position requires excellent verbal and written communication skills as well as the ability to work collaboratively to reach decisions that are mutually acceptable to multiple engineering and support teams.

The possession of, or ability to gain, a U.S. DoD Secret clearance is mandatory with preference given to those who have completed a background investigation within the last five years.

This position requires the ability to obtain a US Security Clearance for which the US Government requires US Citizenship

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills and Experience)

* Bachelor's degree in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics, chemistry or related field
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills
* Ability to work collaboratively to reach decisions that are mutually acceptable to multiple engineering and support teams.
* The ability to obtain a U.S. DoD Secret clearance
